A year has gone by and we still have not been able to return to our home, Paragon City and Rogue Isles. Who would have thought that after a year of us being kicked from our homes, that we would still be so actively hoping and wishing that we will one day be able to return to the place where we shared so much!

The spiritual successors to City of Heroes are starting to show some real promise! City of Titans will be launching before you know it, Valiance Online is currently in their pre-beta stage of development, and Heroes  & Villains is making some really great progress! So check them out...

Thank you all for continuing to share your pieces and collections of your City of Heroes/City of Villains characters with us. We love seeing them!! Please continue to share them in the coming years. And may 2014 be filled with renewed inspiration for your CoX toons to be rendered and shared with the rest of us!

May you all have a very Merry Christmas and a joyous and creative New Year!!

Howdy Folks!!

We have fantastic news!!! DtheCadeyra has brought to our attention the Kickstarter for one of the spiritual successors for the City of Heroes called "The Phoenix Project - City of Titans" being created by Missing Worlds Media.

Check out the below link for detailed information.…

There is more than hope now!!!

Howdy Folks!

We are in the process of adding more outstanding artists to our Artists' Alley! So please take the time to check out their work and if so inspired, please commission them to render some of your CoX toons. And please, if you haven't done so in a while, revisit the sites of our long time artists also in the Artists' Alley. They have been with us since the beginning and have rendered many of our toons from City of Heroes and City of Villains over the years. They have always come through with some magnificent pieces of our Heroes, Villains, Rogues and Vigilantes! So check them out as well.

We look forward to seeing more new pieces of your characters from our artists!

For those of you who are wanting to see your favorite characters wearing their best costumes, you can now recreate them in ICON. Codewalker of the Titan Network has found a way and from what I hear it works really well.

Below is from the thread on the Titan Network forums explaining how to gain access to ICON...

Titan Icon: Unlock Your Potential
on: December 11, 2012, 02:24:33 pm
Even though it's still in late alpha stages, there has been a tremendous amount of interest in the Icon program that unlocks CoH's costume creator. I'm creating this thread to centralize all the information and discussion about it.

This post will always have the link to the latest version along with instructions, and is the best place to link to.

Icon Version 0.2

You must have either the latest Issue 23 (version 2320.201207182341.1) or Issue 24 (version 2400.201208211101.1) game client installed. The NCSoft launcher is not required. The Issue 24 client has more costume parts available and is recommended if you have it.

Save icon.exe into your City of Heroes program folder. On a default install, this may be in C:\Program Files\City of Heroes, or C:\Program Files (x86)\City of Heroes on 64-bit systems. It should have a cityofheroes.exe file in it as well.

Use Explorer to browse to that folder, and double click icon.exe. You can create a shortcut to it if desired.

I have also included a direct link to Codewalker's thread on the Titan Network forums...…:

I look forward to seeing new screenies and artz you come up with now!!!

It is just about the end of the year and I must say, seeing all of the amazing artz and images of your CoH & CoV characters throughout this past year just warms my heart! Especially since our beloved cities of Paragon and the Rogue Isles have seen their final sunset. Perhaps one day we will once again be able to play there.

Thank you all for sharing your love for the game by sharing your work and collections here for the rest of us to oggle over. May you continue to be inspired to create and share your CoX characters with us in 2013.

And on that note, may you all have a very Merry Christmas and a joyous and creative New Year!!
